Season's Greetings

Hello guys, I hope you are enjoying the festivities. Here's a photo from the recent xmas party at Old Fogey's place, as you can see it was packed, though some commented that it was a bit dead. And somebody trod a few leaves into the place, not to mention spilling red fluid on the carpet - I hope it was just red wine but suspect otherwise. Mrs Fogey says I am not allowed to invite my strange friends ever again!

You will be seeing a lot more of these fellas in the new year, I have got the army painting bug at the moment. I'm sure it won't last too long, but if I could add another 60 bodies to this lot, I would be very happy (well, maybe less grumpy than usual). I will get some more pictures posted in the new year. Until then, I wish you

  3. Perfectly translated! Hyvää uutta vuotta!

And nice work with the goblins. I really like your basing style - big blocks look really great and gives the unit more feel of unorganized mass. Hope to see some more of your work in this site.

    Happy new Year everybody!

  4. Great update you old git! And what and update, you put us to shame when you post so many finished minis at once :D

Love the difference in colors, as they really fit the minis. The pale ghouls looks wicked (and yes they make very good ghouls indeed!) and the semi-rotten zombies are very nice and earthy (always had a crush on the mantic zombies. The bases looks good as well, the addition of leaves and statues really sets the mood. My only concern is that the ghoul/goblins looks a bit too clean for my taste, maybe some dirt on their feet as the bases seems kind of muddy. Anyhow they look wicked and that's just nitpicking.

I hope you do continue with the painting spree...

    Cheerios and happy new year!
