Looking for some....

.....of this. A nice big spoonful would go down a treat just now.

Now that the long summer days are slowly dissolving into a distant haze (for the four northerners anyway), I feel like I should unveil some grand master plan, some amazing project to look forward to. The problem is, I don't know what to do next.

It's not like I don't have things I could be doing. I have piles of unpainted figures crying for attention. For warhammer, I have some recently acquired plaguebearers, marauders and skeletons from years ago, semi-painted trolls and dwarfs, almost built  chaos knights, and a vampire and fell bats primed just a couple of weeks ago. I have a shit load of Studio McVey Sedition Wars stuff from the kickstarter - a new parcel arrived just this weekend, I have barely looked at it. I have a small selection of Darklands figures that are still in the box, one is part-painted and looking for love. And I have a delivery of Red Box dwarfs that should turn up sometime soon. And yet, none of these appeal at the moment.

What are you guys going to do over the next few months? Maybe your ideas will feed me the inspiration I desperately need.

  1. I suggest Brushes United to make a character creating campaign, as I've myself done with the Xenos posse. I guess this sort of "get rid off your bitz and combine them into something great" could give you the boost you need. We all probably have kilos and kilos of miniatures we will never use, and converting them into inq28- characters would give us the new way to look our junk we've gathered ;)

    What do you say?

  2. I was going to suggest just painting something easy and simple, just for the satisfaction of getting a few minis done. Use a color scheme you know will work and mini´s for your favorite army.

But Turska has a more cooler idea for sure, that would be something I might be interested in..

  3. I know the feeling OldFogey, it comes creeping into my mind a couple of times per yet. I can't say that I've come up with any cure but Turskas option might be what's needed, if you feel the spark of inspiration that is ;)

  4. I like the idea of getting rid of some of the piles of old bits, but it would be in a fantasy setting for me, I just don't have any love for the 40k stuff. Sorry. I think I will revisit ol Papa this year, it's been a long while since I have wandered in his gardens of delight. Something chaos for me, a warband, or a regiment or three for my chaos armies, something like that. Erik, are you getting back to your warband any time soon?

  5. As reported by Stanford Medical, It's in fact the SINGLE reason this country's women get to live 10 years longer and weigh 19 kilos less than we do.

(And by the way, it is not about genetics or some secret diet and really, EVERYTHING about "how" they eat.)

P.S, I said "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
