I use a lot of ultra diluted inks and also AIR model paints diluted with thinner and water. That way I can achieve those rich colours composed of lot of tones instead of flat colours. The base colour on him is continuous a mix of ocre brown and interior green , shadows are made of dark brown , purple and a bit of black.
